12/6/23 We must support democracies around the world especially fledgling ones. Putin is on a mission to regain the old Soviet Union which would mean attacking some NATO members and putting American soldiers into another war in Europe. Putin has kidknapped thousands of Ukrainian children and taken them back to Russia for indoctrination.
How can anyone put conditions on supporting Ukraine?
The House must support the Freedom fighters in Ukraine.
I was unable to make the Racine Solidarity Vigil Today 12/07/23, so please allow me to extend my support with the following statement:
The Green Bay Prison and others in similar condition need to be torn down and rebuilt utilizing humane and modern standards.
As Representative of Wisconsin 1st Congressional District in Washington in 2024 I will advocate for any and all federal dollars available to achieve this purpose.
Don't get me wrong if you do the crime you should do the time, but those held in confinement deserve equitable humane treatment not only to meet their basic needs but maximize their potential for rehabilitation and reentrance to our society as productive, healthy citizens.

Our veterans took an oath to protect and defend our country against all enemies both foreign and domestic - I don't think they would approve of a president who wants to be dictator on day one or the congress that supports him ( Bryan Steil) . Freedoms once given up are very hard to regain.
Freedom is not Free we must fight for it.

Joyce Wadlington, the President of the Racine/Kenosha Chapter of the National Black Nurses Association formally shared the organization’s official statement announcing the death of the honorable Eddie Bernice Johnson the first registered nurse (RN) elected to the US house of representatives, the first woman and person of color to serve as Chair of the Committee on Science, Space and Technology in the U.S. House of Representatives with our local chapter members of the American Black Nurses Association as follows:
🕊️🕊️ In Memoriam 🕊️🕊️
On 31, 2023, The Honorable Eddie Bernice Johnson passed away, marking the end of an era in her remarkable career. Elected in 1992, she made history as the first registered nurse elected to Congress. Her dedication and commitment to public service led her to become the dean of Texas's congressional delegation during the swearing-in of the 116th United States Congress.
In March 2022, The Honorable Eddie Bernice Johnson assumed the role of the oldest member of the House of Representatives following the unfortunate passing of Representative Don Young. Her longevity in service was a testament to her unwavering dedication and commitment to the welfare of her constituents.
Before her congressional career, she served in the Texas House of Representatives achieving a landslide victory in 1972. This groundbreaking win made her the first Black woman to hold an electoral office in Dallas. She further solidified her reputation as a trailblazer and advocate for her constituents by serving three terms in the Texas Senate.
Although her passing is a significant loss, The Honorable Eddie Bernice Johnson's legacy as a pioneering nurse, dedicated public servant, and trailblazer will continue to inspire future generations.
As a member of The Racine/ Kenosha Wisconsin Chapter of the NBNA I am running to WIN to be the future first woman congressional representative of the First Congressional District of Wisconsin. I am committed to make improvements for all persons that promote quality healthcare that is affordable, accessible, equitable, and that keeps decision making among individuals and healthcare providers, especially when it comes to a woman's right to choose.
I am committed to legislative action that leads to improvements in two specific health problems that disproportionately affect the black population Diabetes prevention and care & the continuing problems of perinatal morbidity and mortality.
Diabetes Care:
Diabetes prevention especially getting access to the Evidenced Based CDC Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) Lifestyle Change Program and access to the newest classes of medications especially the costly newer medications that are advertised on TV & social media.
People should discuss diabetes prevention with their personal health care providers and ask them to utilize professional guidelines from scientific organizations like the American Diabetes Association (ADA) to guide their individual diabetes prevention care.
An example of these care guidelines which are available to the public is below:
Obesity and Weight Management for the Prevention and Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes: Standards of Care in Diabetes–2024.
Diabetes Care 2024;47(Suppl. 1):S145–S157 | https:/ / doi.org/ 10.2337/ dc24- S008
Provision of care of diabetes and its devastating & costly complications should be provided at the highest professional evidenced based standards. The full ADA care guidelines to discuss with your individual provider are below:
https://diabetesjournals.org/care/issue/47/Supplement_1
The continuing problem of perinatal morbidity and mortality that continues has recently been brought to the attention by athletes like Allyson Felix. Listen to her personal story:
https://www.cdc.gov/hearher/allysonfelix/index.html
I personally express my condolences to the Honorable
Eddie Bernice Johnson’s family and colleagues and in her honor pledge to work with my professional health colleagues and constituents in the WI 1st Congressional District, the President, Vice President and all congressional members to improve the specific health problems that disproportionately affect the black population that I have presented in the information above.
Nurses like Honorable Eddie Bernice Johnson have motivated me to WIN the first congressional district seat, flip the House of Representatives and let the experienced professionals develop policy and pass laws that improve the health and happiness of our Neighbors Near in the First District of Wisconsin and those Far away in other districts on both sides of the isle!

"Saving democracy should be Americas sacred cause"
Joe Biden
Over 6 months ago I communicated at the start of my campaign on the home page my core statement that “I will lead neighbors near and far to preserve our democracy”.
I am happy that in the last few months preservation of our democracy has become more central to political discussions and is being communicated to the voting public. The concept of the gift of living in a democracy was imbedded in my personal development by my family, educators, and faith community. Without our core democracy all the freedoms we have would not exist and in recent times those sealed & trusted as lawful freedoms are being taken away, jeopardizing our physical and psychosocial safety.
Please go to andersonwi1st.com to review my qualifications and positions that support that I am running to WIN the first Congressional Seat of Wisconsin.
I have placed the link to President Biden’s speech delivered yesterday which focused on the fact that preserving our democracy is the key issue in the 2024 elections.

55 years ago Shirley Chisholm was elected the first black woman to congress, a great milestone. The First Congressional District of Wisconsin has never elected a woman. Now more than ever it's important to have a woman like Diane, a health care provider who understands the tragic ripple effects the elimination of Roe has on women's health issues.
